Hello Hairy –

My person read me your column in the mendocino magazine, where you mention certain restaurants that let dogs come INSIDE! I am a certified therapy dog and sometimes I can do that, but would love to know which restaurants you are talking about. Could you let me know?

Chihuahua thanks you.

Unless you are a certified therapy dog or provide human assistance, you cannot go inside restaurants. You can, however, enjoy your uprights company if the table at a restaurant is outside on the patio or one that provides some sort of al fresco dining, but it cannot be located in a restaurant dining area that is enclosed.
